We are a curated gift shop, showcasing small businesses & makers from across Essex & Suffolk. Established in 2022, we have been based in Copford since 2023.
Our gift shop supports over 50 local creative
businesses to showcase and sell their products to the public, giving them an affordable space to sell at an in-person shop.
Love Local became a CIC in 2025!
A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a special type of UK business, focused on doing good. While it can sell products or services like any other company, its main aim is to benefit a specific community or cause. Profits made are reinvested into this mission, making Love Local a business with heart- committed to positively impacting our community.
Through our shop we connect locals with unique products and services, supporting growth and artistic expression while ensuring every creative voice is heard and valued. Additionally, The Workroom helps local grassroots organisations and charities by offering in kind space hire.

Hi, I’m Rhianna, the face and driving force behind Love Local!

I launched Love Local from my own struggles, as a small business trying to showcase my products in person. Love Local offers a space for the creative community to sell unique items afford and sustainably, while giving the public access to exclusive products not available on the High Street.

We have so many independent businesses right here on our doorstep - and I am committed to providing a space for these local businesses to showcase their talents!
The Love Local shop gives customers a unique shopping experience, as they have the opportunity to browse (and hopefully buy) an eclectic range of products, all under one roof.
